ANOTHER snowy day. The worst to be stuck inside with a teething toddler. We did have an awesome play date this morning and I want to share the easiest blueberry muffin recipe. I literally threw these together in five minutes with things that I already had in my cabinets. The kids loved them as well as the adults. Not too sweet either! I was actually going to throw chocolate chips into them but I couldn't find them and, my son was falling off his "helping" stool so we will save that for next time.

Simple Blueberry Muffins

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar (I usually put a little less because I feel like it's better for everyone)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk (I was going to use almond milk but was not sure about nut allergies)
1/4 cup oil
1 cup blueberries

Preheat oven to 400. Prepare a standard muffin pan with paper liners. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add milk and oil, mix together. Fold in blueberries. Spoon batter into prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes.  Made about 12 small muffins.

This was all that was left after the playdate:

For some time now people have said that I am Google for moms. Looking for a toddler activity? A place to play today? A super toddler trick? A good book/birthday gift/recipe. The list is endless...

My active 17 month old started walking when he was 8 months which meant we were busy at a young age. He has been walking for more than half his life! I'm going to use this blog not only to keep track of things for me (because god only knows what I had for breakfast this morning and it's only 11:30 in the afternoon) but to also provide a place for other mom's like me who are looking for ways to keep their maniac toddler entertained for five minutes.

Please feel free to share this blog with others as well as your stories and tricks that may help out our fellow moms.

Someone once told me "it takes a village".
